The mission of Curio XR is threefold.
Provide a comprehensive and distraction-free learning platform for everyone through innovation and collaboration at no additional cost.
Develop immersive, highly-engaging, and pedagogically-sound learning experiences that enhance education equity & accessibility.
Reduce the time & cost of building in VR (and AR) by 80% by allowing researchers & developers to leverage existing VR tools (instead of having to build from scratch).
How do we do this?
We do this by pairing subject matter experts (professors, instructors, tutors, teachers, textbook authors) with Unity VR/AR developers to build their dream content. These Unity developers are oftentimes college students who work inside the Curio platform as part of their coursework.
