Free Device Lending Program
Through VR In Schools (a nonprofit 501(C)(3)) donations, VR headsets are available for school districts, schools, and colleges/universities to borrow one year at a time in order to give VR a try. The idea is that once your colleagues and students have experienced all that VR has to offer, your institution will come together to locate funding to buy your own headsets. Objective:
The Free Device Lending Program is designed to help integrate VR technology into classrooms without initial financial commitments.
Participants will receive a set of VR headsets (Meta Quest 2’s and Meta Queset 3’s) as well as upgraded head straps with integrated extended batteries (6-7 hour battery life), on loan for a one-year period, with the possibility of extension. This provides a risk-free opportunity to explore the benefits of VR in educational settings.

Zero Cost
The VR headsets are provided free of charge for the duration of the program. The devices are insured by VR In Schools, alleviating any concerns about potential damage or maintenance costs.

Free Software
A list of free, high-quality education apps will be provided (including Curio XR), for easy download. There are never any licensing, subscription or renewal fees.
Funding Assistance
We will assist you in finding grants and other funding opportunities to secure your own VR headsets (see Funding & Grants page).
